Local attractions include the Cultural Arts Center, the Children's Museum of Richmond - Short Pump, Jack Bourne Park, and Meadow Farm Museum, alongside entertainment options such as trampoline parks, skating rinks, a water park, a music pavilion, and a local winery. Nearby cities including Richmond, Mechanicsville, and Midlothian provide additional dining, nature, and cultural experiences within a short distance.
About the Clinician's WorkdayClinicians will work 12+ hour day shifts in a fast-paced urgent care setting at an on-site outpatient facility in Glen Allen, Virginia. The daily patient volume ranges from 25 to 50 patients of all ages, encompassing a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries. Clinical responsibilities include minor procedures, injury stabilization, diagnostic testing and interpretation, and initial emergency care with transfer of higher-acuity patients as needed. Board certification, prescriptive authority, and an active Virginia license and DEA are required for this assignment.
