Laundry Worker

and play an important role in ensuring our residents have clean, fresh linens and a comfortable living environment. Schedule Saturday & Sunday 8-hour shifts each day 16 hours per weekend What You'll Do

Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident and healthcare linens Follow established infection control, safety, and laundry procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry area Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently Assist with linen deliveries throughout the community Support the Environmental Services team with additional duties as assigned What We're Looking For

Reliable and dependable attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to understand and follow instructions in English Commercial laundry experience is helpful, but not required Positive attitude and commitment to excellent service Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds independently Ability to push and pull linen carts weighing up to 100 pounds Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting throughout the shift Ability to work in a warm laundry environment and perform repetitive tasks Why Join Seabury at Pomperaug Woods?
